This application facilitates the scheduling of appointments, direct communication with the blood center, monitoring of vital health statistics, and receipt of eligibility notifications. Additionally, donors can redeem points in the online Donor Store, enhancing their experience. The app is intuitively designed to be user-friendly and is compatible with mobile devices, integrating seamlessly with various smartphone features.

For 70 years, SunCoast Blood Centers has served as the independent community-based blood center for Sarasota, Manatee, DeSoto, and Charlotte Counties. The organization is committed to ensuring a reliable supply of quality blood products and services for local hospitals and health centers. Its core mission encompasses the collection, testing, processing, matching, storage, and distribution of all necessary blood products to support these healthcare institutions.

Since its inception in 1949, when the blood bank collected 551 pints of blood (now referred to as "units"), the organization has grown significantly. Today, over 1,000 blood drives are conducted annually, resulting in the collection of more than 38,000 units of blood. This remarkable progress is attributed to the unwavering generosity of its dedicated donors. SunCoast Blood Centers continually seeks avenues to enhance donor experience through cutting-edge collection and testing technologies that prioritize safety and comfort while addressing the needs of an increasingly tech-savvy donor base.
